The object of the study is the activity of ensuring the psychological recovery of servicemen.
The purpose of the work is to improve the methodological support of the activities of officers-psychologists of a military unit (subunit) on the psychological recovery of servicemen - participants in combat operations.
The work uses theoretical (generalization, comparison, idealization, abstraction, classification, systematization), empirical (observational, psychodiagnostic, experiment) research methods, as well as methods of mathematical statistics.
Scientific novelty and degree of implementation of the main results of the research:
The term “mental health of a military personnel” is clarified due to its definition as a state of emotional and mental well-being of a servicemen, in which he is able to satisfy basic needs, achieve self-realization, feel involved in social groups, and also adequately respond to all types of stress, avoiding destructive actions and destructive behavior patterns;
For the first time, a technology for the work of psychological officers on the psychological recovery of servicemen - participants in combat operations was developed and tested, which includes: a methodology for identifying individuals in need of psychological recovery; a system of measures for the recovery of the mental (mental, psychological) health of military personnel and methods for assessing their effectiveness; an algorithm of actions of officials of the psychological support and recovery group regarding the implementation of measures for the recovery of the mental (mental, psychological) health of servicemen in accordance with the identified needs at the stages of use for their intended purpose and recovery of combat readiness of military units (subunits) of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
