The paper is devoted to the research and practical application of ultrasonic cavitation technologies in industry and medicine. The first part of the study presents a comparative analysis of heavy hydrocarbon processing methods. It has been experimentally confirmed that the method of cavitation hydrogenation increases the yield of light fractions and improves the environmental indicators of the process compared to traditional methods. The second part focuses on the development of medical instrumentation. The feasibility of using ultrasonic cavitation for minimally invasive glaucoma treatment by cleaning the trabecular meshwork without thermal tissue damage is substantiated. A mathematical model of a 1½-wave ultrasonic scalpel with a special tip (spherical ball) ensuring surgical safety was developed and calculated. Resonance frequencies (48373 Hz and 48702 Hz) were determined, and the instrument's operation was simulated, confirming the efficiency of the proposed design for ophthalmological practice.
