The practical significance of the findings lies in their potential to improve the personnel training system of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine through the implementation of an effective mechanism for the instructor corps' operation. The proposed model allows for the structured organization of the selection, training, certification, and professional development of instructors. The developed performance assessment criteria will contribute to enhancing the quality of the educational process in training units. These practical recommendations can be incorporated into training curricula, regulatory documents, and internal SBGSU regulations. The research findings can also be used in the training of instructors within the framework of interagency cooperation among Ukraine's security and defense sector agencies.
