The object of the study is the technology of road construction, repair, and maintenance.
The aim of the work is to improve the technology of road construction, repair, and maintenance.
The report presents: recommendations for setting up control points; recommendations for monitoring temperature non-uniformity during the placement of pavement layers; a technological protocol and industrial implementation of fiber-reinforcement technology for stabilized crushed stone-sand mixtures; proposals regarding modern pavement repair technologies using foamed bitumen; the selection of optimal roller operating modes; the deepening of theoretical and improvement of methodological foundations for cost management in roadworks; the prevention of dust-related health issues in road construction; the technology for regenerating existing pavement during major road structure repairs; results of determining weather parameters applicable to winter maintenance; research on asphalt concrete compaction under laboratory conditions;
investigations into the transverse deformation coefficients of various types of Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA); studies on laboratory compaction methods regarding the effect of modifying additives in asphalt concrete mixtures; and research on the influence of various energy-saving and adhesion-promoting additives on bitumen properties.
