OBJECT OF THE RESEARCH — software for an integrated system for comprehensive evaluation of the reference standards base.
SUBJECT OF THE RESEARCH — regulatory requirements, decision-making algorithms using guard bands, statistical criteria for evaluating interlaboratory comparison results, and software tools for their processing.
PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH — to develop methodological approaches to comprehensive evaluation of the reference standards base of calibration laboratories, evaluation algorithms, and software for their implementation.
The report presents the results of the R&D stage. Requirements for the calibration scope, decision rules and application of guard bands were analyzed. An algorithm with seven guard-band options was investigated and tested using data from a Fluke 5522A calibrator.
Approaches to automated evaluation of interlaboratory comparison results using the Eₙ, z and ξ criteria were summarized. The «Acceptance v.1.1» software prototype was tested. It provides data import, calculation of deviations and acceptance limits, seven guard-band options, binary and non-binary decision rules, and graphical presentation of results.
Testing confirmed the performance of the developed algorithms and software functions. The complete integrated system for comprehensive evaluation of the reference standards base has not been implemented; the developed solutions can be used as a basis for its further development.
DEGREE OF IMPLEMENTATION: the algorithms and software prototype were tested using experimental data; their performance was confirmed.
