Conduct an agrochemical survey of soils and lands and justify measures to restore soil fertility in the study area
popup.description2
The object of the study comprises the soils and lands of the private agricultural enterprise "Myrne" LLC, whose land holdings are located in the village of Severynivka, within the Ivanivka settlement community of the Berezivka district, Odesa region.
The objective of the work is to conduct an agrochemical assessment of the soils and lands, and to substantiate measures for the preservation and enhancement of soil fertility within the territory of "Myrne" LLC in the Berezivka district, Odesa region.
The research methodology involves soil-genetic and agrochemical studies, utilizing field-based expeditionary and route-survey methods, comparative-geographical and comparative-analytical approaches, as well as cartographic, ecological, comparative, and predictive techniques. Standard laboratory-analytical methods were also employed to examine the physical, chemical, physicochemical, and agrochemical properties of the soils.
Information regarding the natural conditions of the area—acting as factors of soil formation and prerequisites for sustainable land use—has been synthesized.
The selection of research methods is justified, and the overall organization—including the adaptation of specific methods and procedures for conducting soil surveys and agrochemical assessments—is described for the study area. During field operations, a diagnostic assessment of the soils and lands was carried out, and samples of soil and parent material were collected for laboratory analysis. Based on these results, the current agrochemical status of the soils in the study area has been determined. Based on the results of a soil and agrochemical survey of the territory of LLC "MYRNE," cartograms of soil nutrient status were compiled, measures for the optimization of land and natural resource use were developed, and recommendations were provided for enhancing soil fertility and the productivity of the farm's lands.
