Scientific novelty of the results obtained: documents regarding the formation and development of the professional corps of junior commanders within the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have been analyzed; the operational deployment of junior commanders within the state border protection units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been adapted to current requirements; a unified methodological approach to the professional development system for the corps of junior commanders in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been developed; and a methodology for the professional development of the corps of junior commanders in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been devised.
Practical significance: recommendations for the professional development of the corps of junior commanders in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have been developed and substantiated. Implementing these recommendations will enhance the level of professional development of the corps of junior commanders within the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
The developed theoretical-methodological approaches and practical recommendations can be utilized in the operational activities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to establish a modern system for the professional development of the corps of junior commanders.
