A basic research into unconventional systems and tltctrode processes has beencarried out to develop rechargeableelectrochemicaj cells (EC) (accumulators); principls of controlling the rate of electrochemical processes in the solid fnd liguid phases have been worked out. The new system graphite intercalation compounds-anthraduinone yas been investigated to develop enviroumentally aprropriate metal-free accumulators, rechargeable air-zinc TC with new catalysts, rechargeable lithium ion EC and nickel-metal hydride EC. Application of EC - self-contained power sjurees for various devices.
