We mean such a system of management (principles, functions, methods, organizational structures) which is caused by the objective necessity and regularity of the market system of economy, connected with the orientation of a business to demands and needs of the market, requirements of the buyers, working out employer's interest in achieving maximum final results. Modern management is characterised by its orientation to providing a rational system of economy management in the conditions of resources deficit, necessity of achieving high final results with minimal expenditures, optimal adaptation of the firm to market conditions. The system of management, which meets such demands, logic and laws of social-economic development must be quite flexible and effective. That explains permanent improvement of management in the western industry in accordance with objective requirements of production and realization of products, complication of economic ties and sharpening of sales problems, raising the role of economic ties in the conditions of accelerating economic and technical progress. Now the problem of overcoming of the understanding management as preferably a technological process, the specific algorithm of operations which can be successfully applied, without consideration of social context, peculiarities of specific features and basic social and cultural characteristics, appears urgently on the modern agenda. We mean the theoretical consideration of the qualitative characteristics of managerism ( as a practice of management in the form of a social and technical system), their correspondence to social and cultural bases of managing activities. One of many factors which predetermine the integral evaluation of the effectiveness of a social management sys tem is the inadequacy of managing actions on a social and ethic levels .In this case, such a qualitative characteristics of social management as the adequacy gains a special importance. The problem of the social adequacy of management is especially actualized in the conditions of modern Ukrainian society transformation. So, inadequacy of the applied paradigms of management in the conditions of the Ukrainian society transition to social market economy becomes evident As the practice of the Soviet stage of society development testifies the foundation on the single true ideology with achievement of "a clear perspective" goal had inadequate subsequent results. On the other hand, carelessness of public development purposes also puts obstacles to establishing and effective functioning of adequate organizational forms of management in the conditions of modern highly developed society. Alongside with, that we should mention that each society (depending on the stage and peculiarities of its development) requires the type of management capable to create an adequate managing system. The strategic course of Ukraine to radical reformation of the society vital activity is aimed at creating principally new mechanisms of management in the spheres of both material and spiritual production. That is, on the transitional, transformational stage of the Ukrainian society especially acute is the problem the search of the management which is adequate to the main, basic characteristics of a socially oriented market economy.
