However these wagons can be operated at existing lines with a speed up to 160 km/h; an efficiency of the use of a new wheel rim profile developed at ITM for standard and upgraded trucks of freight wagons running at 120 km/h in sections of track involving straight ones, transition and circular curves is evaluated; the range of the impact on an index of stability of refinements for the norm formula is studied for determining the margin coef-ficient of stability against derailment. Novelty of results lies in the fact that the approach for determing constraint reactions is proposed to solve mo-tion equations for multi-contact systems with Coulomb friction. This approach can be used to calculate railway under frames equipped with friction-damper trucks. The use of new profile wheels instead of standard ones and elastic-frictional sliders instead of standard ones are preevaluated.These estimations are shouwn that dynamic performance of a freight wagon is not degraded, and whe-el wear is significally decreased. The formula version that can be considered as working criterium for evaluating the safe running against derailment is cho-osing. The results will be used to solve the practical problems related to the improvement in railway wagons. Applications - railway transport.
