The estimation of carrying capacity of the tank structural elements is made taking account of the effect of existing defects, the methods of active life prediction for tanks for petroleum products are developed, recommendations are made regarding the raising of the tanks active life, the procedures and algorithms are developed for their strength calculation accounting for the features of particular structures, some special features of technology of manufacturing and operational conditions are taken into account in the stressed-strained state estimation.
