On the base of analytical analysis and in the result of numerical experiment conducted on two-stage compressor applying three-dimensional bundled software, basic regularities for formation of butt-end flow in radial clearance area of rotor blades have been revealed. Numerical analysis of conditional thickness behavior of butt boundary layer depending on compressor operating regime has been carried out. Parameter criteria are chosen and regressive model of expediency assessment of installation of any rotary device for increasing machine efficiency is made. Computation tests at objects have proved model adequacy.
