A research object - screw-thread connections of agricultural technique. A purpose - reducing of expenses on maintenance of selfpropelled combine harvesters in the capable of working state by optimization of maintenance rate and list of operations of maintenance of screw-thread connections. Research methods. The experimental and theoretical methods of researches are used in work, in particular theory of mechanical vibrations, mathematical analysis, mechanics of materials. The decision of the got equations is executed analytically and with the use of the computer programs of Mathcad-14, Mathematica-6, Matlab-7. Experimental researches are made with the use of methods of theoretical mechanics, differential and integral calculation, statistics. Theoretical results. To avoid of loosening of screw-thread connections during working time of machine is possible by the choice of torque moment of screwing up, inflexibilities and coefficients of friction of the connected details and spiral pair. Working time of screw-thread connection to loosening is decreasing at approaching of operating vibration condition to resonance. The increase of friction force between the connected details for avoidance of loosening must be accompanied the increase of friction force on the supporting surfaces of head of bolt and nut. Practical results. Operating and technological recommendation in relation to maintenance of screw-thread connections, that allowed to shorten the expenses of time on it conducting to 30 - 35 % is developed. The developed recommendations are inculcated and used for the production of selfpropelled combine harvesters of КЗС - 9 "Славутич" ТОВ "Херсонський машинобудівний завод". The improved modes of maintenance of screw-thread connections are introduced and used in the complexes of machines for growing of cereals in agricultural enterprises. Novelty. Maintenance of all screw-thread connections of agricultural technique to execute not after a necessity, as marked in instructions on exploitation, but after certain working time is first suggested. Efficiency. Realization of the developed recommendations allows to get an economic effect in a size 92 - 127 uah on a 1 hectare of grain. Industry of the use agricultural engineering and agricultural production.
