There were determines the priority problems of population health for the Dunabe area, conducted the assessment of social-labour potential and the level of the satisfaction with the quality of the environmental situation in the Dunabe area. There was found that the prevalence of the chronic diseases of cardiovascular, digestive, urogenital system, cancers and the pathology of locomotory apparatus was increased in the last years and it exceeds the average regional indices in 1.5-2.2 folds.
