The classification of ecosystems with domination of tall aerial plants has been completed, by singling out the water shed damp oak-groves on well-developed black soil. The ecosystem of the water shed dry oak-groves on well-developed black soil at the different stages of recreational digression has been characterised. The florocomplexes of indicator types of plant aggregations at the recreational digression stages of water shed dry oak-groves on well-developed black soil and at the succession stages of above-flood-plain-terraced-loess multi-herbaceous-and-fescue-and-feather-grass steppes on chalk have been singled out. The secular and regional structure of Stipa ucrainica P. Smirn. coenopopulations at the different stages of reservational succession of the ravine-gully multi-herbaceous-and-fescue-and-feather-grass steppes on black soil ecosystem has been studied. It has also been established that the demographic structure of coenopopulations of this kind has an indicative meaning. The morphological markers of macrocarpous Chaenomeles japonica (Thunb.) Lindl. and Chaenomeles x superba (Fraxm) Rehd)) have been indicated and two perspective selecting forms of Chaenomeles japonica have been chosen and described. Four perspective ornamental forms Сhrysantemum x hortorum Baley have been chosen, resistant to the conditions of arid steppe. Competitive test of three perspective selecting forms of fodder crops (Arrhenatherum elatius (L.) J. et C.Presl., Bromopsis riparia (Rechm.), Agropyron pectinatum (M. Bieb.) Beauv.) has been carried out to estimate their feeding value. A candidate to a kind: Bromopsis inermis (Leyss.) Holub 'Donbass' has been handed over to the state kind-testing.
