The classification of crop-herbaceous ecosystems has been completed, namely by singling out fescue-and-feather grass steppes in forests, limestone, and sand-and-shell rock. A working classification of ecosystems of anthropogenic origin has been developed. The water shed dry oak-groves on well-developed black soil, ravine-gully dry oak-groves on well-developed black soil, water oak-groves on meadow grounds and ecosystems of ravine-gully multi-herbaceous and fescue-and-feather grass steppes on black soil have been investigated. Florocomplexes of the species, indicating the state of the ecosystems under consideration have been singled out. It has been stated that the cultivated Chryanthemum ? hortorum Bailey (Osenneye Izobiliye, Zolotoy Podsolnukh, Sestritsa Alenushka, Knopa and Lynn) are the best donors in selection work, by such characteristics as "growth height" and "shrub form". The selection forms of Bromopsis inermis (Leyss.) Holub (2 forms), Bromopsis riparia (Rehman) Holub (1 form), Agropyron pectinatum (М.Bieb.) Beauv. (1 form) and Silуbum marianum (L.) Gaertn have been studied and proved to be perspective for kind- testing. The kind of Festuca gigantea Vill. Velychava was prepared for state kind-testing, a candidate for a kind Sіlybum marianum Zlatoustivska , handed over to state kind-testing, the kind of elongated wheat-grass "Sarmatsky" registered in the Patent Registry. The way to accelerate the reproduction process of three perspective forms of Cornus mas.has been found.
