The task of Dictionary consists in that, maximally full to give words, widespread in the hutsul manners of speaking and what off in literary Ukrainian, but utillized in artistic literature. Among them there are words, which are widespread not only in hutsul but also in the contiguous manners of speaking south-west dialects. Some of such words are given in modern explanatory, orthographic, orthoepical dictionaries with a mark dialectal word. They also will enter in Dictionary. After the direction Dictionary of hutsul lexical dialectisms is planned as a dictionary of clever type. Vocabulary entries will be placed after an alphabet. Consequently, the offered Dictionary will fix those words which are limited in functioning of hutsul or and by a contiguous with him natural habitat, but which became property of language of Ukrainian artistic literature. In the text of artistic work they execute the specific functions of recreation of hutsul colour, individualization of broadcasting of characters, more exact reflection of realities, and others like that. The value of such Dictionary consists foremost in that he will enable to set the segment of hutsul lexicon, absorbed the language of fiction, and at high-quality higher level to find out conformities to the law of co-operation of literary language and hutsul manners of speaking in the area of vocabulary. A practical value will have a dictionary: he will be useful for every reader of works on a hutsul subject.
