A research object is the management of the career of military personnel with the account of requirements to the candidates on positions in Armed Forces (AF) of Ukraine. A purpose of the work is the justification of scientifically methodological requirements to the candidates on military positions on the basis of application of methods of career management and determination of the rules for application of requirements to the candidates on positions of servicemen at the AF of Ukraine in course of the employment decision-making process. Main research results: 1. Performed analysis of experience of the United States of America, Canada is aimed for the development and application of requirements to the candidates on positions of servicemen, as well as application of these requirements in course of the employment decision-making process. 2. Review of the state-of-art for the evaluation of professional activity of servicemen is performed; justification of the demands on modification of methods and approaches concerning the evaluation of different categories of servicemen, directions of their training, features of official activity is presented. 3. Introduction of additional groups of criteria for evaluation of different categories of servicemen, directions of their training and features of military service is justified. 4. Approaches to formulation of criteria of comprehensive evaluation of official activity of servicemen of Land Forces of AF of Ukraine are given. 5.On the basis of career management research literature with the application of method of career management, a list of requirements to citizens (servicemen), who expressed a desire to study in the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National army academy (NAA) is presented; criteria for scoring of students during the studies in accordance with the selected specialty (from the list of specialties available at NAA) and the basic requirements to the graduating students of academy, future officers are formulated. In the research, the analysis of present system of use of career management approach is performed concerning the evaluation of suitability of servicemen of Land forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine to the corresponding military position and priority requirements are formulated to positions of servicemen of Armed Forces of Ukraine with the account of the specifics of military activity. On the basis of results of analysis and study of experience of development of requirements to the candidates on positions in Armed Forces of developed countries of the world as well as those in civil businesses, The Passport of Position for military personnel of Land Forces in Armed Forces of Ukraine (Project of Passport of Position of "Commander of the mechanized troop") is justified. As a result of the performed research, suggestions to the methodical recommendations on the rules for applications of passports of military positions are proposed; recommendations concerning modifications of regulative documents which specify the terms of application of Passports of Military Positions are presented.
