Метою роботи було порівняльне комплексне фармакогностичне вивчення видів роду гірчак: Polygonum neglectum Bees. і P. monspelienseThieb. ex Pers. як альтернативних джерел для розширення сировинної бази офіцинального виду P. aviculare L. та отримання субстанцій сечогінної дії на їх основі.
