Монографію адресовано науковцям, викладачам вищих навчальних закладів, методистам, учителям, авторам підручників і всім, кого цікавлять питання удоско- налення змісту шкільної іншомовної освіти. The monograph is devoted to problems of theory and practice of constructing content of school foreign language textbooks. Various aspects of foreign language school textbook theory are considered. The retrospective analysis of textbook development in Ukraine is carried out. Features of designing textbook contents are outlined. The system of didactic means of mastering the content is scientifically explained. Author's views on modern foreign language school textbook as a polyfunctional educational means are presented. The results of experimental verification of textbook content effectiveness are represented based on Spanish language textbooks.
