The monograph examines the peculiarities of the emergence in Ukraine of the experimental tradition of the study of psychic phenomena in the process of learning in the context of two lines of analysis - the evolution of the idea of ​​a psychological experiment and the content peculiarities of the development of the subject-problem field of the teaching psychology. From the modern methodological positions, the development of experimental standards is analyzed.
