Запропонована в підручнику методика дає змогу реалізувати в повному обсязі міжпредметні та предметні змістові лінії. Текстовий і позатекстовий компоненти підручника спрямовані на формування історичного мислення, ключових та предметних компетентностей школярів. The textbook "Introduction to History" (propaedeutic course) was created in accordance with the State Standard of Basic and Complete General Secondary Education and the current (updated) history curriculum for general secondary education institutions. The content of the textbook is based on Ukrainian studies and will help students to form a clear idea of ​​the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the present. The methodical apparatus of the textbook is built taking into account the requirements of the competency-based approach to learning, which allows the teacher to differentiate work with students, provides for their independent research activities. The method proposed in the textbook allows you to fully implement the interdisciplinary and subject content lines.
