The intralingual translation of a word demands a kind of synonymous word for circumlocution. R. Jakobson was one of the first linguists who singled out three forms of translation one of which was intralingual translation. He points out how difficult it is to come up to complete equivalency because the affected codes make certain difficulty in the translation.
