З’ясовано суть компетентнісно орієнтованої методики навчання української мови учнів ліцею. Особливу увагу приділено тексту як засобу реалізації завдань шкільної мовної освіти, компетентнісно орієнтованому підручнику як засобу формування компетентного мовця, освітнім досягненням учнів з української мови в контексті компетентнісного підходу. Concept of teaching the Ukrainian language to high school students reveals ways of training a competent speaker, a national-speaking personality. Theoretical and methodological principles are outlined competently oriented methods of teaching the Ukrainian language of the Lyceum students - philosophical, dinguistic, psychological, pedagogical, linguistic-didactic. The essence of the competently oriented method of teaching Ukrainian language of the Lyceum students has been clarified.
