The Criminology textbook is prepared in accordance with the educational ones programs of the National University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and aims to provide basic knowledge of this course to students, cadets and trainees, to create conditions for them to reflect on the causes of crime in Ukraine. The tutorial consists of two modules. The first (General part) presents the ideas of domestic and foreign criminologists on scientific knowledge about crime, its determination, the identity of the offender, criminological victimology. The theory and practice of crime prevention in Ukraine are revealed. The second (Special Part) looks at some of the most common types of crime in Ukraine.
