Description
This article gives a brief overview of historical conditions that preceded the creation of optimal multimedia educational environment at the foreign language lessons and analyzes its role in intensification of learning process. A short analysis of German internet resources and some methodological and didactic approaches for their usage at the lessons are given. The authors introduce the notion of “productive zone” and its fulfillment with effective methodological material. Methodological and didactic preparing of the lesson using multimedia communication is described in detail. It is proposed a certain sequence of steps for optimal lesson planning with special emphasis on variability of tasks for increasing interest in the educational process participants with different backgrounds.
Absolutely not minimizing the role of a teacher in transferring knowledge to a person who studies the authors describe in details that powerful tool which appears in the skillful hands of a teacher and takes a lesson the realm of ‘two theater actors` teacher-student into audio-visual polyphony with involving new entrants of educational process. Creating a new, more flexible software helps to create a variety of new multimedia applications for some of the most popular languages. All these factors are changing the traditional aesthetics of the lesson with the teacher as the main source of dissemination, interpretation and monitoring learning and processing of information. The main role of the teacher is to create new didactic materials and bring them in correspondence of the interests of the particular target audience.
