Посібник може стати в нагоді вчителям старших класів на уроках новогрецької мови мови й літератури при роботі з культурологічними текстами, а також усім, хто вивчає новогрецьку мову, літературу або цікавиться історією та культурою Греції. The proposed practical manual is addressed to teachers of high school (lyceums) of general education institutions of Ukraine with the study of the Modern Greek language. The manual includes Modern Greek texts of a cultural nature and their explanatory articles in Ukrainian, which reflect the core themes of Greek history and culture, features of the Greek worldview and national identity. The topics and methodological support of the texts are aimed at the formation of key and subject competencies among students, in particular sociocultural competence as one of the components of modern school education.
