Description
The article explores types and functions of professional English-language sources in text format. The author examines various aspects of using such materials in the process of learning English by students of technical higher education institutions and their contribution to the development of linguistic and professional skills of future specialists in technical and engineering fields. Special attention is given to the practical advantages of using authentic texts.
Стаття присвячена дослідженню видів та функцій фахових англомовних джерел текстового формату. Автор розглядає різноманітні аспекти використання таких матеріалів у процесі вивчення англійської мови студентами технічних закладів вищої освіти та їх сприяння розвитку мовленнєвих та фахових навичок майбутніх фахівців технічної та інженерної галузей. Особлива увага звертається на практичні переваги використання автентичних текстів.
