Description
This work investigates the application of hydraulically driven shock-vibration equipment for the production of monolithic concrete foundations by the method of sequential build-up. The paper considers the advantages of this method, such as high quality and homogeneity of the building material, effective removal of air voids, as well as the possibility of adapting the process to the requirements and features of the construction project. The main principle of the equipment`s operation consists in shock-vibration inducing the hollow-formers to sink into the rigid concrete mixture, which simultaneously compacts and creates voids, which are then alternately filled with the subsequent expansion of the adjustable formwork. The effectiveness of the method of sequentially building up layers of concrete, which allows to reduce the costs and duration of construction, is also considered.
