У дослідженні розглянуто специфіку мовних і когнітивних механізмів, що забезпечують доступність, наукову коректність та вікову відповідність текстів для дитячої аудиторії. Особливу увагу зосереджено на стратегіях адаптації, спрощення, конкретизації та метафоризації, які сприяють ефективному відтворенню складних наукових понять у перекладі. Матеріалом дослідження слугували автентичні англомовні дитячі науково-популярні видання та їхні українські переклади. Результати роботи дають змогу визначити ключові лінгвокогнітивні параметри, що впливають на якість перекладу, а також окреслити оптимальні підходи до відтворення наукової інформації для дітей у міжкультурній комунікації. The master’s thesis focuses on the linguocognitive aspects of translating children’s popular science discourse. The research examines the linguistic and cognitive mechanisms that ensure clarity, scientific accuracy, and age appropriateness in texts addressed to young readers. Special attention is given to strategies of adaptation, simplification, concretization, and metaphorization, which facilitate the effective rendering of complex scientific concepts in translation. The study is based on authentic English-language children’s popular science publications and their Ukrainian translations. The findings identify key linguocognitive parameters that influence translation quality and outline optimal approaches to conveying scientific information to children within intercultural communication. popup.nrat_date 2026-04-17 Close
