Description
Comorbidity of diabetes with digestive disorders can have a significant impact on the
quality of life of patients, their psycho-emotional state, social adaptation, and ability to self-care,
reducing the effectiveness of treatment.
The aim to determine the psychological parameters of quality of life among patients with
comorbidity of type 2 diabetes mellitus and excretory pancreatic insufficiency, to assess the
impact on them of the generally accepted treatment complex, as well as the additional inclusion
of the drug phenibut and a course of acupressure.
Materials and methods. 45 patients with the pathologies under consideration underwent
multiple quality of life surveys (SF-36) during standardized and combined treatment.
Results. In the combination of type 2 diabetes mellitus and excretory pancreatic insufficiency, a significant decrease in the total psychological component of health was noted by
57,39 % compared to the control. An extremely low value of social functioning and mental health
was established. Standardized therapy aimed at ensuring glycemic control and replacing excretory insufficiency led to a significant improvement in the psychological component of health by
32,54 % one month after its start. At the same time, in the long term, a slight deterioration in
quality of life indicators was noted. Additional use of phenibut caused a twofold increase in the
total psychological health indicator. After 6 months from the start of treatment, the increase in
SF-36 scales was less pronounced, but significant. Supplementing drug treatment with a course
of acupressure led to the normalization of emotional state-related role functioning and mental
health, with the maintenance of the achieved values in the long term.
Conclusions. Additional use of phenibut when combined with acupressure courses significantly improved psychological quality of life parameters compared to standardized therapy.
Актуальність. Коморбідність діабету із порушенням травлення спроможна чинити вагомий вплив на якість життя пацієнтів, їх психоемоційний стан, соціальну адаптацію і здатність до самообслуговування, знижуючи ефективність лікування.
Мета. Провести визначення психологічних параметрів якості життя серед
пацієнтів із коморбідністю цукрового діабету 2-го типу та екскреторної панкреатичної недостатності, оцінити вплив на них загальноприйнятого комплексу лікування, а
також додаткового включення препарату фенібуту і курсуакупресури.
Матеріали та методи. 45 пацієнтів із розглянутими патологіями кількаразово
проходили опитуванняякості життя (SF-36) під час стандартизованого та комбінованого лікування.
Результати. При поєднанні цукрового діабету 2-го типу та екскреторної панкреатичної недостатності відмічено достовірне зниження сумарного психологічного компоненту здоров’я на 57,39 % у порівнянні з контролем. Встановлено вкрай низьке
значення соціального функціонування і психічного здоров’я. Спрямована на забезпечення контролю глікемії і заміщення екскреторної недостатності стандартизована
терапія через місяць від свого початку призвела до достовірного покращення психологічного компоненту здоров’я на 32,54 %. Водночас, у довгостроковій перспективі
відмічено незначне погіршення показників якості життя. Додаткове вживання фенібуту викликало удвічі більше зростання загального показника психологічного здоров’-
я.Через 6 міс. від початку лікування зростання шкал SF-36 було менш вираженим,
проте достовірним. Доповнення медикаментозного лікування курсом акупресури
призвело до нормалізації зумовленого емоційним станом рольового функціонування
та психічного здоров’я із утриманням досягнутих значень у довгостроковій перспективі.
Висновки. Додаткове вживання фенібуту при поєднанні із курсами акупресури
достовірно значимо покращило психологічні параметри якості життя у порівнянні зі
стандартизованою терапією.
