Description
The optimal combination of coagulation and sorption processes and effective technological
parameters for wastewater treatment from milk processing plants were determined. The findings indicated a
correlation between the ratio of fats to proteins in wastewater and the optimal dosage of the sorbent. The study
included an investigation into the adsorption of the primary dye (methylene blue) by activated carbon. The
observed efficiency of regeneration supports the recommendation of using of activated carbon sorbents for
treating wastewater in food industry enterprises.
