Description

The object of research was the blood of patients with open fractures.
Work's purpose: to study the features of changes in clinical and biochemical indices of patients with open fractures of the long bones in the dynamic of treatment.
Research methods: clinical (erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, leukocytes and leukocyte formula) biochemical (INR, PTT, TT, fibrinogen), statistical.
As a result of the research, was discovered, that patients with polytrauma have a significant decrease in the level of hemoglobin and erythrocytes, INR, PTT, TT and an increase in fibrinogen and hematocrit. Reactive neutrophilia was noted at the first stage in case of polytrauma, at the second and third stages in case of open fractures of the forearm and shin bones, polytrauma of limbs.
Work's novelty. For the first time, a comparative analysis of hematological indices in the dynamics of surgical treatment of patients with open fractures of the forearm and shin bones, with polytrauma of the extremities was conducted.
Work’s significance - the results widen a concept of patients’ condition with open fractures with different localization and reflect the dynamics of the postoperative period. By virtue of this study were found that significant changes in hematologic indices of patients with different types of open fractures depend on the localization and severity of these injuries.
The results can be used by doctors for the monitor treatment, to improve rehabilitation measures, predict the development of complications and reduce the disability of patients.
