Description
EN : The qualifying work examines the technology of steel smelting in electric arc furnaces, describes the design and operating principle of an electric arc furnace from the point of view of the formation of dust and gas emissions, and determines their quantity and composition. A calculation has been made for a bag filter whose efficiency is 99%. An aerodynamic calculation of the gas path of the gas cleaning system was performed. The total resistance of the gas exhaust tract, according to the calculation results, is 3101 Pa. Potentially dangerous and harmful factors in the production environment of an electric furnace melting shop are considered, technical solutions for industrial sanitation are made, and measures for electrical safety, fire and industrial safety are considered. A calculation of air showering at the workplace has been made.
