Description
EN : Considered aspects of the influence of metal tension at the time of rolling. The literature review provides data and analyzed research results based on the data of publications in scientific and technical publications. A change in tension in the range of (0.25-0.35)σf leads to a decrease in the average contact pressure during rolling, and, accordingly, the power parameters of rolling increase strength, moment and power. This is explained by the fact that the tension facilitates the longitudinal movement of the metal, reduces the effective value of the yield stress and thereby contributes to the reduction of the average contact normal stress. The method of calculating the moment when rolling staffs with tension has been improved, which takes into account the effect of the resulting longitudinal forces of plastically deforming metal. The results of the comparison of experimental and calculated data showed that the proposed method can be recommended for determining the moment during rolling with tension of the staff.
