Purpose of the study: To determine informativity of the parameters calculated during the work with the database as well as their diagnostic and prognostic value. Methods and equipment: One-factor, multi-factor and multidimensional analysis, methods of non-parametric, parametric and descriptive statistics with the use of integrated software Statistica v.5.5.A, personal computers. Results: Expert system for diagnosis of diffuse liver lesions which allows to improve the quality of differential diagnosis was created. For the first time it was proved that at the contemporary state of computer technologies, selection of the data from the complete database (instead of individual selection of data) followed by statistical processing in standard media was methodologically correct. In contrast to traditional methods of data processing as a sample from normally distributed accidental value, effective methods of corrective statistical analysis of various processes in the organism of the patients are shown. Efficacy: The informativity of clinical parameters from the database was evaluated, which allowed to improve the methods of diagnosis, treatment and disease prevention.
