It has been proved that high frequency, resonance and acoustic properties of magnets in the vicinity of magnetic phase transitions are formed by effect of coupled vibrations of different subsystems. The origin of unique interplay of magnetic, electric and transport properties of rare earth manganites has been elucidated. The collective phenomena in a low-dimensional electron gas have been investigated.
