OBJECTIVES: 67 children aged 11 - 12 having caries prophylaxis; 53 adolescents, aged 15 with study of immunity status; 144 children with malocclusions. GOAL: increasing of caries prophylaxis efficiency of malocclusions and malocclusion treatment, spreading of indications to non-extractive treatment. STUDY METHODS: clinical, microbiological, immunological, photo- and anthropometric, biometric, X-ray, statistical. STUDY RESULTS AND INNOVATION: For the first time the efficiency of "Bakplan" for decreasing of microbe and fermentative activities of the dental plaque has been proved. The immune status changes in children with multiple caries have been discovered. The early diagnosis method of the abnormal mesial shift оf upper lateral teeth has been offered. The reasons of the abnormal mesial shift, origin frequency in various abnormalities and its part in pathogenesis of some abnormalities have been determined. The methods and appliances for malocclusion treatment with abnormal mesial shift have been proposed. STUDY EFFICIENCY: The early diagnosis and mesial shift correction by proposed treatment scheme allows to have positive treatment results without teeth extraction in 78,6 % of distal occlusion cases with vestibular canines position, in 100 % cases of complicated tooth retention that are more then 2,5 times more in comparison with exciting data.
