Guiding electrodynamic structures on the basis of metal and dielectric waveguides, quasioptical waveguide resonators, methods of shaping of radiation beams with the superGaussian profile of intensity and beams of radiation with the given polarization are the object of the research. The purpose of work is a substantiation, development, study and approbation of new methods of formation of high-quality output beams in quasioptical resonant sys-tems with the nonuniform mirrors containing various amplitude, phase and polariza-tion-selective spatial filters. In work the structure of the high-order transverse modes of waveguide dielec-tric resonators in the far field is analytically studied. The method of a spatial Fourier-filtration for the selective excitation of separate high-order types of oscillations with a high degree of discrimination of undesirable modes is proposed and realized. The method of phase conjugation of formation in waveguide quasioptical reso-nators of wave beams with the superGaussian transverse distribution of intensity of the radiation, founded on correction of a phase of the resonator basic mode due to change of the shape of one of mirrors is developed. Existence of beams with the su-perGaussian transverse distribution of intensity of radiation to an output of the dielec-tric waveguide (l = 0,4326 mm) resonator with a convex spherical mirror is experi-mentally confirmed. The geometry of the metal waveguide quasioptical resonator is proposed on which output the quasiuniform field of rectangular profile is formed. Use of spatial filters on mirrors for excitation of the high-order types of oscilla-tions with the given polarization in metal waveguide resonators is proposed. For the first time the method of formation of radiation beams with the given polarization in waveguide resonators with application of polarization-selective mirrors is proposed. The calculation procedures developed during performance of this work for ob-taining in waveguide resonators the superGaussian output beams, the calculation pro-cedures of resonators with application of polarization-selective mirrors can be used at designing and making of lasers in systems of transmission of the information, diag-nostics of plasma, a spectroscopy, medicine.
