Storage in the managed gas environment is based on maintenance of optimum values of temperature, relative humidity and chemical composition of gas environment. As a result of such method storage takes place braking of metabolic processes in berries with the simultaneous maintainance of commodity type of berries and food value, development of pathogenic microflora and physiology disorders is repressed. Shelf-life is thus prolonged.
