Purpose of work - to determine peculiarities of changes of the quality in solving tasks with different level of their complexity on the basis of studying psychophysiological characteristics of persons of the strain mental work, when making test tasks of an operator's type .The physiologo-hygienic characteristics of an operator's activity engaged in different branches of the national economy (controllers of electroenergetic systems, those working in regular and emergency conditions, pilots) and persons, being in different functional states. The combination of major psychophysiological qualities have been established in the controllers of electroenergetic systems, which are mostly manifested in conditions of regular and emergency situations and are related with the speed of reactions and the speed of regularity determination. It is found that in the structure of inter-relations of psychophysiological functions in reliable pilots being in the state near to disadaptation, there is a closer inter-relation, which can point to the greater physiological cost of work and to duration of the period of adaptation to fulfillment of the operator's activity work. The principles of prognostication of the level of reliability of the operator's work, levels of work strain and decisive rules have been developed as well as an hierarchical informative model, which helps to explain the action of psychophysiological mechanisms for providing the proper level of reliability of the operator's activity in the system "man-machine". It is found that the correction of the functional state with the use of functional music with beating effect, results in the substantial significant improvement of the feeling by indices of brain bioelectric activity. On the basis of researches a hypothesis has been formulated on the relation of connection of level of resistance to stress and the reliability of activity when solving tasks of different complexity in comfortable and stressful situations. The recommendation for providing the reliability of operator's activity have been developed and a draft methodical recommendations "Methods of optimization of the functional state of operators, working in conditions of high functional tension" has been prepared. The theoretical significance of the research is in establishment of peculiarities of forming a reliable operator's activity for persons, being in different functional states and in different working situations (emergency, regular). The practical significance is in development of approaches and methods of raising the capacity, reliability of operator's activity, in considerable economic and social effect, due to the decrease of the rate of accidents, protection of health and professional longevity of workers. The results of the scientific research can be used for studying fundamental mechanisms of human adaptation to professional activity of an operator's type, for development and improvement of work and res schedule for operators and introduced in all branches of the national economy, where there are occupations of an operator's type, in energy, transport, in particular.
