A method of channel estimation for OFDM systems with MISO and space-frequency-time coding, that gives considerable reduction of fading channel BER, is given. A method of linear spatial mapping for optimization of transmitted power as an effective mean of increasing capacity is proposed. Use of CMIMOR as a new architectural solution for deployment of next generation BWA systems with high capacity is considered. Formulae for determination of network capacity for serial and parallel relaying are derived. Analytical model for error probability in multiantenna cooperative relaying system is developed. Use of fixed relay stations in a network with known infrastructure for increased diversity gain for wireless terminals with limited number of antennas is analyzed. Mathematical models for ergodic capacity and BER of microcellular MIMO system with space-time block coding and phase manipulation for fading channels are derived. Analytical and experimental characteristics of capacity and BER were compared. An imitation model of MIMO system physical level was developed.
