The researchers have specified the set of categories and methodological tools to investigate the major world economic disproportions. They defined the internal factors of Ukraine's economic growth and their impact on the development dynamics of the national economy, and revealed the main world economic disproportions and their relationship with globalization and the current financial and economic crisis. Also, they justified the preconditions for crisis outburst to be used in the forecasting of this country's future economic trends, defined the disproportions of Ukraine's GDP reproductive structure (in the context of international comparisons), and revealed various disproportions in the composition of this country's national wealth. The project defines the character of the relationship between the imports and the resources used in the economy (as well as the criteria to assess the reliability of the forecasted values of imports by economic activities). The researchers reveal the specific features of the territorial disproportions in the world economic development and the potential of particular areas to overcome the regional and production disproportions.
