The complete description of the dependence of the laser-induced remagnetization and the associated magneto-resistance effect on physical parameters of laser radiation, and also physical characteristics of material of magnetic junctions is given. Magnetic junctions on the basis of ferrimagnetic nanolayers with picosecond pulse laser remagnetization and the large magneto-resistance effect were obtained. The dependence of the laser-induced spin precession and remagnetization in the antiferromagnetic orthoferrite layers on a duration, polarazation and frequency of laser pulses is obtained.
