According to the "Evaluation Guidelines…" evaluation of gas presence of rock mass at the promising plot located near the south-east part of the Kalmius-Torets Depression (coal bed m3) of Chaikine Mine run by the State-Owned Company "Makkevugol" was made. The results of the application with prediction of the volumes of occluded and free methane of coal beds and layers of enclosing rocks are generalized.
