Objects of study - 2-thiouracil, 2 - oksoalkiltiopirimidiny, 2 - (oksoalkil)-pyrimidin-4 (3H)-ones. Research purpose - to develop a preparative method of obtaining derivatives of 2 - (oksoalkil)-pyrimidin-4 (3H)-ones by the desulfurization of alkylation products2-thiouracil halo ketones, and explore the possibilities of their use as ligands for transition metal coordination. The conditions for the extrusion of sulfur from 2 - (2-oksoalkiltio) pyrimidines, thereby developed a convenient method for the synthesis of 2 - (2-oksoalkil) pyrimidines, is in the interaction with the reagent trifenilfosfitom in DMF at elevated temperature. A number of new derivatives of the pyrimidine series - 2 - (2-amino-4-ariltiazol-5-yl)-pyrimidin-4 (3H)-ones and obtained from the products of bromination and nitrosation 2 - (2-oxo-2-feniletiliden)-6-methyl-2,3-dihydropyrimidine -4 (1H)-ones.
