Purpose of the inquiry is to invent the technology of making a series of high-voltage pulse capacitors in one insulating casing based on a film dielectric. Including a wide range of various combinations of parameters and characteristics of 11 part types of capacitors, the capacitor sections should be made based on the dielectric system of combined two-side rough and smooth polyethylenephtalate films impregnated with a transformer oil characterized by electrical strength at a level of 500-550 kV/mm and dissipation factor no more than 0,0005. Accomplished electrical calculations showed that making a series of high-voltage pulse capacitors is feasible on basis of one all-purpose insulating casing from a film dielectric using the uniform design elements; and the production technology for the latter is proposed. To confirm the results of the research, two prototypes of high-voltage pulse capacitors of type ИМП-50-1 and ИМП-50-0,5 are made. Retrieved values of the expected resource of capacitors satisfy the preset values. The results of the scientific research will be used for making of high-voltage pulse capacitors intended for the installations of various technological purposes in the electrical field.
