Hrushevs'ka, M. Hrushevs'kyy, H. Nud'ha, O. Dey, I. Denysyuk, R. Kyrchiv et alia. There have been traced peculiarities of analyzing folklore texts in different periods of folklore studies, particularly there have been explored textological principles of publishing folklore texts; besides, conceptual foundations of different research schools in folklore have been highlighted. Specificity of folklorism in the Ukrainian literature during Romanticism and Modernism as well as major aesthetic categories of artistic and folklore systems have been scrutinized. Dominant ethno-aesthetic categories of artistic and folklore systems, methodological background of shaping ethno-aesthetics in the philosophical system of notions of general aesthetics, main stages of aesthetic ideas in the context of studying ethnic peculiarity of oral folklore have been examined here. Methods of documenting and archiving folklore and ethnographical materials collected during expeditions have been also worked out.
