Scientific report reflects the results of comprehensive studies in the Odessa region NWBS , seashore Khilia arm of the Danube River and Black Sea estuaries . This report contains information about the integrated assessment of the quality of the marine environment, the tendencies of changes in temperature and salinity , hydrological and hydrochemical situation in the Black Sea shelf , Production processes , spatial distribution and quality of petroleum products and heavy metals in water and sediments . Using GIS technology created maps of the spatial distribution of contaminants in the sediments of the study area . The final section of the report is devoted to the development of two integrated methods for assessing the quality of the aquatic environment and toxicological biotesting and bioindication jf the hydromorphological conditions in accordance with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC . The Report is presented on 169 pages and contains 37 tables and 98 figures.
