Research aim - ensuring quality and the required geometrical shape of axisymmetrical parts, made from sheet blanks, obtained by the local plastic deformation methods using CNC equipment, on the basis of studying regularities of the plastic material flow depending on the process parameters. Theoretical foundations and methods of testing sheet materials under the conditions of tension, compression and shear as well as methods of testing under two-axis stress state have been worked out. Methods are proposed for determining parameters of the sheet material strengthening curves, of plasticity diagrams and limit deformation curves on the basis of simple tests and calculation methods. A criterion of plastic loss of sheet blank stability during rotational drawing has been elaborated. An approximate analytical solution of the plasticity theory boundary problem has been obtained in order to determine stress state in the deformation region in the process of manufacturing axisymmetrical parts, made from sheet blanks, by the rotational drawing method. The procedure has been elaborated for estimating deformability of the sheet blank material depending on the drawing process material as well as dimensions and geometry of the tool being used. Limit deformation diagrams have been built for steel 08кп and aluminum АД1 as well as stability diagrams that describe the dependence of the sheet blank plastic forming stability on the ratio of main logarithmic deformations. A procedure has been developed for application of the obtained stability diagrams for estimating the probability of stability loss by the sheet blank during rotational drawing process. Installation with a mechatronic drive has been designed for processing parts by the rotational drawing method. Main parameters of the mechatronic drive have been calculated and the choice of its components substantiated. The mechatronic drive control system, based on a free-programmable controller, has been designed.
